WELCOME

Patrick Owen has been teaching English lessons, since passing his Cambridge University TEFL certificate in 1995. He has taught the English language in the United Kingdom, Australia and Nigeria. He has experience of teaching English to both adults and children. He arrived in France in 2001 and began teaching Business English courses. He has taught Business English to students from a wide variety of business sectors, including papermaking, information technology, finance, industry, journalism and public services. He worked for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Grenoble for 4 years, first as a Business English teacher and then as a project manager organizing in company language training courses. In 2008 he set up his own English language training consultancy, offering English lessons and French to english translations. He works for the Grenoble Ecole de Management and University Joseph Fourrier as an English teacher. He is a Cambridge BULATS examiner and a TOEIC administrator. Patrick wrote a textbook for the CNED in 2009, and constructed an on-line course to prepare the TOEIC test for icademie (specialist in distance learning).
